There’s a lot Nimrat can make work, this sari however isn’t one of them. A maang-tikka and red lip finished out her look in the Vikram Phadnis white and gold embellished net sari but truth be told, the red seemed much too harsh and the sari, well… Tacktastic. Bummer!

Bipasha went the fail-safe Award Night red (or green) carpet route with an embellished black Rocky S gown. With her hair worn down, a red lip is all that it took to finish out the look. Safe, yes. Predictable, yes. But did it work? Also, yes!

Not shying away and/or modifying décolletage baring looks (which she gets props for), Vaani picked a pale blue Anita Dongre dress for an event at IIFA. Pink lip and silver pumps finished out the look. Would’ve preferred seeing strappy silver sandals instead of the pumps but the bigger issue is with the dress itself. As nice as she looked, it seemed a tad excessive for the event.

Giving us our second sighting of the night in Nikhil Thampi was Sonakshi Sinha. Wearing her hair up in a top knot, she finished out the look with metallic ankle-strap sandals, Jimmy Choo clutch, Valliyan by Nitya jewelry and a belt by AéTee. She looked great!

Ms. Chadda shimmered in a hot off-the-runway Sanchita dress on the green carpet. Love the dress on her but the way in which it was styled, not so much! A look with a whole lot of potential but one that was severely let down by the choice of hair do and chunky sandals.
