It’d be safe to say Tabu is in a phase right now, of the AJSK kind. Wearing an ombré embellished sari by the designer duo (Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla), the actor attended an Awards event held last evening. With her hair set in retro waves, she finished out the look with diamond jewelry.
While the colors work on Tabu, the look dramatically lacked in fluidity and movement. Between the stiff hair, matte make-up and the sommelier-esque palu draped over the arm pose… Let’s just say it was one of her less stellar appearances. We weren’t fans of the look!

It was a draped Zulekha J Shariff dress for Shaheen while at a recent jewelry collaboration unveiling. Wearing her hair down, she finished out the look with a red lip, statement earrings, cocktail ring and an Alexander McQueen clutch.
Priyanka: Wish Shaheen had opted for lesser volume with her hair and worn it differently; as is, it weighed down the look. Minus that detail, Shaheen wears the dress well. Speaking of which, anyone else get a strong Ramona Narang vibe from it (the dress)?
Payal: I like the hair as is which helps give the dress a more casual vibe versus an air of Awards’ red carpet severity. It works on her!
