It’s not very often that Alia picks Indian-wear for the red (or in this case, green) carpet. So her appearance at IIFA Rocks made for a nice change of pace!
Alia cut a rather sweet picture in her Manish Malhotra. Wearing her hair up, she finished out the look with dewy make-up and big earrings. Not much to fault here, she looked lovely.

Aalia is always well turned out . Both age and event appropriate. She experiments with style, hair and colour and she won this round hands down. You don’t have to try too hard. Just be yourself. Her ethos is alot like that of dia mirza.
Back to this look, it’s lovely. I love the dupatta draped over the daring neckline and the simple make up with the simple yet intricate dress.
You said it all so well. I love Alia for the same reason. She belts out different styles/silhouettes both desi/western. Hair/shoes versatity. But always with simplicity, so much elan & being herself. And Dia Mirza is the same with her innate elegance/grace. Most importantly no pouts and antics.
Versatility*
She looks pretty but the makeup is making her look little unwell. At least a little more colour is needed on lip or cheek
She looks gorgeous. The whole look though desi is still understated/elegant. It goes with her simple styling mantra with adding only big earrings for that extra effect to the outfit. That low of neckline works only /doesn’t look any ounce vulgar because of her body type.
pretty! the twins are so tiny that’s why this doesn’t look vulgar 🙂
She looks sweet but this is a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen.
Looks lovely but what’s distracting is below the neck. A push up bra was made precisely for this reason.
She looks pretty. But that blouse is dangerously tiny.
She’s looking so much like a young Pooja Bhatt here, there is a resemblance obviously, but in this outfit and make up, it’s very prominent.
