Alia attended the Filmfare Awards Saturday evening wearing a gown by Georges Hobeika. Letting the gown be the highlight, the actress skipped on jewellery and opted for a sleek combed back look.

Yes. She is always trying to dress for a taller silhouette but I’m sorry some gowns are just meant for taller people. This much fabric just overwhelms her and does nothing for her.

Dull peachish makeup and hairdo ruined the look…also should have gone with oruginal black tie at the waist like originally presented on runway. That made look pop

Don’t know if it’s the angle, but she is drowning in it. Needs a much taller person to carry off this style.
I like the top half but the bottom part is overwhelming on her. Of late she’s been trying to fit in with the rest of the model-turned-actresses in terms of styling. What her stylists need to realize is styling her as per her petite frame could actually be a game changer. The average Indian woman is closer to 5′ 3″ than 5′ 9″. She could serve as a fashion inspiration to millions of girls.
This gown is for someone who is much much taller…most of us here can get that, so hard to believe her stylist can’t seem to figure it out.
