Wearing a coral Arpita Mehta sari, Alia attended the Ambani Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations on Tuesday evening. She looked nice but, to me, the mirror-embellished sari and top had more of a cocktail event vibe to them.

By now there is no difference in occasion in bw to say dressed for a wedding or for an event or for a festival. It’s as ott is it can be, n on that parameter alia does superb here, Color, style, look, all are win. No complaints, she looks stylish and a fashionable attendee.
I’m a bit old-fashioned, so I think people should be a bit conservative when attending ‘puja’ celebrations. Love the saree but the blouse is all wrong.
Her hair is so Deepika from her gehraiyaan days. Her style game seems to be a spin off of Kareena and Deepika. Her innate sense comes out very, very rarely.
Because she doesnt have one! She is mostly very casually dressed.
This looks ridiculous to do that awful drape which is as is an eye sore…. to a ganesh charurti celebration of all places :)). She looks so terribly silly

Meh, the saree is pretty boring and agree it gives a cockatil evening vibe. Also that one boob drape is such a downer
The colour is washing her out, she looks pale? Not her best I’m afraid

Maybe a little jewellery ? Maybe really she lost her jhumkas in the Bareilly bazar.
The flash is making the picture appear strange, but she looks lovely. I would have preferred some Fuscia or hot pink color-blocking – Pink Jhumkas/Necklace/Batua/Bindi.
Trying very hard to be sexy, blouse looks a tad tacky
