This dress does NOTHING to accentuate Madhuri’s grace and beauty. It’s even unflattering near the arms. Madhuri seriously needs to hire Sridevi’s stylist for the next awards ceremony.

“The classic black gown might give off a bit of deja vu vibe, but that aside, no denying the actor looked nice” – That’s exactly my problem…she looks just nice…when will she make me sit up, take notice and say she looks stunning/gorgeous…

No, she won’t. She will always just look “pretty” or “nice” because she doesn’t have the body to carry off “wow” outfits. She just doesn’t, which is fine. She’s a pretty lady but she isn’t a head-turning stunner in any department so I don’t know why everyone expects something different from her.

She was a stunner when she walks down the steps in Hum Aapke Hain Koun right before didi tera devar…And I think she has the capability to be a head stunner…May be you are just undermining her beauty :)

Hope you remember that was 18 years before and she was wearing Indian clothes in that scene. She has never been the one to be able to carry western evening dresses.

Madhuri looks lovely. The outfit is ok but madhuri’s grace makes up for it. It’s sober and elegant

The neck, the sleeves (or lack thereof) ..so wrong.

The bodice is not long enough and the skirt is too long. And yet she is Madhuri, incomparable.

Okay so i take back my comment that she’ll be in some hideous Indian creation but that doesn’t mean I like this look any better.
Apart from the Navvy color which i think is a bold choice for her(i love it for evening wear) nothing about the look stands out and the hair/makeup again a big let down. I really hope after seeing sridevi, priyanka, deepika she hires a stylist in that league or then has her manager call up Dior,Armani whoever next time she has an awards do to attend. Needs to up her game>lets hope this blue gown is a start but i honestly don’t think it is…

She simply dose not have the body and attitude to carry gown or any other western evening dress. Do not know why she keep on trying. She is so stuck on in her 90’s , when it comes to the hair and make-up. She never was a great dresser even in her time, rather she has always been someone with a knack of picking something that she can not carry. She dose not have the oomph to carry such dresses, should stick to simple indian dresses like saree and suites, she looks nice in those. She has a very very Indian face and body and attitude, which is perfectly alright.

One word for the bloggers, since you are running a fashion blog we would expect you to know the difference between “Black” and “Navy Blue”. Too much to ask for?

I think she looks rather nice. The hair and makeup works, and the dress is simple and elegant. I like this look.

snuggie albeit sleeveless in hot Tampa is a faux pas but to wear it at an award show in Tampa is a fashion sin.
