Sporting The Skinny
September 19th, 2009 at 7:25 pm . by PayalCall me old fashioned or perhaps it has to do with watching daddy dearest for years dress up in suits for work but I love the basic tie. Years of watching Dad make perfect triangle at the neck can do that to you. In fact, now I sometimes do it for the better half, thanks to the occasional practice on Dad.
These days, the skinny tie has become quite a favorite and at the premiere of their movie, both Abhay and Harman wore skinny ties with their suits. If I really really had to pick, Abhay’s grey suit would be my pick just because he had a better suit on. Who do you prefer. Either or neither?

Don’t like either ties but I actually like Harman’s suit much better and he looks quite dashing here. Not that Abhay looks bad but I think Harman takes this one.

I am old fashioned when it comes to suits and ties. this trend of skinny ties is something i cannot get on board with. Harman and Abhay both look nice. i like both suits as well but neither tie.

I detest these skinny ties. They don’t look good on any body other than high school punks

Personally, I think Abhay’s tie is less skinny, skinny ties are fine, but Harman’s is like a shoelace
Both of these guys look dumb in the skinny tie.
Just cuz it comes back on the rack, doesn’t mean its good to go. Looks like this Harman guy is getting fashion advice from his gf. poor chap
I don’t like Harman BUT his suit and tie are definetly much better – the cut of the suit and the thinness of the tie are more modern and therefore stylish :)

I like Harman’s suit.. but like Abhay’s tie better. I am not a fan of skinny ties or Harman but they both look good.
abhay’s suit looks like a paul smith to me. no wonder its classic n edgy
