I’m sorry but this is just too trashy for Bollywood’s biggest night (equivalent to the Oscars). As sexy as she looks, this could’ve been saved for the Race 2 premiere. She’s trying too hard but at least she took a risk not many of heroines would.
I saw something similar to this on my way to work on a store girl (she was wearing something from the label the store stocks) and I thought then why is the French boudoir look out and about in the world as fashion?
No matter how lovely and stylish a woman, this style is a travesty. The idiocy of translucent curtains around your nether region really needs to go.

While I think she looks nice, I really don’t think she is dressed appropriately for the biggest night in Bollywood. Also, while sheer dresses are a big rage right now, the sheer detail along with the cut outs seems a bit much. Such an edgy dress would’ve been more appropriate for a Fashion do!
And also the dress would’ve been better if the sleeves were 2″ longer

I’m on the fence with this dress – n leaning towards the dislike more.
Also I know that orange/tangerine lipstick is a hot trend right now. But u have to have a certain skin tone to carry it off n DP doesn’t have it hence the 5 shades too light foundation.

Now I remember why this dress is so familiar…it’s the same dress Zoe Saldana wore at the 2012 CFDA awards! Unfortunate how Deepika’s ripped at the most unfortunate spot :( It seems like a size too small too…the sleeves fall short on her :( … She looks stunning nevertheless!

the first thing this reminded me of was the mallika dress! dippy looks good and fairly pulls it off, but it woudlve been smashing if the dress wasn’t sheer waist down!

Well..Deepika of course is beautiful and her figure is without doubt the best in the bollywood but this dress is a bit tacky for Deepika’s taste and what she usually wears. She reminds me of Malika Sherawat’s (I guess in Cannes?) and the admins of this page said few negative things about Malika but they’ve praised Deepika for something exactly similar to Malika’s..how come?

Zoe Saldana already wore this dress last year, and looked fantastic in it. Deepika looks good, but she ripped her dress and the sleeves are too short on her.

am fairly new to commenting on this site, and no this look is far from tacky. some of you should take an effort to look up runways internationally before putting up some words. as they say, to each their own.
she looks fine as she is. please dont pressure women to change their bodies by surgery to look a certain way.
