Belting It Out

September 4th, 2008 at 8:12 am . by Priyanka

Even though the belt added a great point of interest to Neeta Lulla’s outfit at the launch, it didn’t really work because of her dress’ weird/awkward/nor here-nor there length. The second time around (at the brunch), the belt complimented the outfit really well. Her outfit totally works minus the shoes and bag.

thank God its mono chromatic, and she for a change is looking decent.

The length of that dress is weird…i wouldnt ever wear it. But Lulla still carries it off well…we ought to give her credit for that.

Love the second outfit! Why did she have to go ruin it with those shoes and purse!! :(

Nice black skirt….looks good on her.

  7. I’d have ditched the shoes. Man those look hideous with this. Reminds me of the 70’s vintage fashion pics I was looking at the other day. Everything from lips to earrings to shoes to dress to eye make up co-ordinated. Maybe maybe it would have worked with the bag. The shoes just exaggerate it, no??

is she wearing the same belt in both pics? yeah, me go with second one…

hahaha..cool, we have Adit here who can give us the dope on the ppl behind the clothes as well…and of course, he [assume u are male, Adit ;-) ] is not using his real name on here…smartypants :P but wot I mean is that…keep it coming, Adit!

  9. her shirt is too …puffy for me
:/ (it reminds me of Sienfeild)

She’s such a hit and miss designer, no wonder Ms. Rai’s her best client. The black and white ensemble works (minus the shoes and bag), but isn’t it sort of time tested? I’d expect a bit more experimentation with someone who makes that kinda money doing this day in and day out. This woman’s talent is totally overrated. Next.

  11. Terrible, terrible outfits. That blue dress hits her silhouette at the worst point and makes her look very dowdy.

That white tuxedo shirt is hideous with its balloon sleeves. I don’t even know what to say about the shoes with that particular outfit.

Yeah, I can totally see why Aishwarya gets such bad press for her dresses.
