What an astonishingly unflattering dress… just hideous, and paired with awful shoes and a bag that, though costly, looks like a cheapie from WalMart. This is possibly the worst look you have posted since I began reading your very cool blog!

I quite like the dress, in fact, make it, I LOVE the dress. However, in all honesty, she’s a little short to be wearing this dress. Oh my god, thank you PnP, finally some voice of reason, I DETEST pointy shoes, always have…I realize you guys don’t detest all pointy shoes, but I’m just super stoked that you detest some of them. Jesus, are we in Rumpelstiltskin land? Another fashion statement that I have never understood is this bizarre blond highlighting…I think it washes the color off Indian skin tone. Also, makes you look older…point in case, Nandita Mahtani. Her blond streaks in abundance make her look unecessarily OLD.

Give me shiny black hair anyday….I think that coloring has worked pretty well for Katrina actually.

How the hell does she walk in those? They look like they’ll come right outta her feet!

Wow, that is an awful dress. Sack shapes like that need to either be shorter, the person needs to be taller, and generally a bit wider in the hips. Or really, you could just not wear one at all! Keep that in mind next time, Avanti!

The clutch is cute. Ah, but those shoes…I wear a size 11.5 myself, so you will NEVER catch me in pointy toes because there will always be cleavage…I wish some ladies, size 11.5 shoes or no, would do the same!

She has a tassel on that dress too. Makes it look so much like a curtain. Don’t like it at all. The less siad about the shoes, the better.

her make up, dress and NO accessories are a big improvement over her look on all previous occasions.

Methinks her D&G clutch (along with her hair) is the only saving grace in this whole outfit. I really don’t like the dress and the shoes are way too horrible to even bother commenting on them!!

Avanti Birla is LOADED and this is what she spends her money on?!?! I’m sure she can afford a stylist, she should get one pronto! Dress and shoes, both gotta go!

The dress looked cute when I just strolled down…but on second thoughts…I hate the bottom of the dress. Needless to say the shoes are terrible. The only saving grace is the clutch (which I love) but even that fails to upgrade this disastrous look.

While I would never pick this outfit to wear (on a night out or ever), I do think that Avanti rocks the outfit!
