Don’t get me wrong because I am a big fan of Sabyasachi, but you don’t need a designer to put this together. Every desi wardrobe probably has black kurti and pants, even one in white, add a dupatta and voila! All said she does look nice.

Couldn’t agree more with Slc’s response! Almost all of us have that particular Donkey colored shade of shawl in the closet that you throw on last minute for strictly casual outings, or just use as a throw on a cold night.

More so, the whole look could’ve at least been spiced up with some pop of color or accessories, instead she looks very sad, matronly and much older than what she is. I am so surprised that you liked this look :(..

You are right accessories would have made such a difference. I am somewhat tired of nets, floor length anarkalis that this was refreshing.

Why do they all stand cross-legged? (Aishwarya Rai’s patented standing position these days!)

She looks nice? Who is she? Props for posting such a wearable outfit.

I think this look for a casual, indian clothes type of day. As nice as this is, it’s too plain and old for this person.
Is there a particular name for the style of kurta she is wearing? I could sport this!
