While Varun sported the Gucci monogram at his father’s birthday do, Malaika wore hers for a round of travel. Had Varun left the jacket unzipped, it would’ve looked far better.

Generally I am not a fan of monogram clothes. They just look tacky to me.
sometimes it’s done well though. Eg Rashmika Gucci sweater came out looking pretty decent.

Thanks, Priyanka! Actually, a lot of monogrammed articles mentioned on the blog look and feel very different in real life even if they don’t photograph well. So unless we are expected to provide an opinion based how stuff “looks” compared to how they actually are, then yeah, Gucci falls at the bottom of the pile.
I don’t own a single Gucci, but I don’t need to own one to say I don’t like it. lol. Actually, that could be one reason to not own it…
Malaika’s is worse simply because there’s two of these brand names/logos plastered across her jacket ? (gucci & balenciaga)

Malaika fares better here but Gucci or not, those jackets shouldn’t have left the production house.
Coming to logo merchendise, i think Gucci, LV, Balenciaga does it worst. Valentino, Versace, Chanel does them pretty decently.
Logo march is very cringeworthy.
Did Malaika come back from visiting the Antarctic? She looks all kinds of ridiculous with the oversize jacket over a sweater, black leggings and leather boots. Color me confused, its August in India, no?
