    • It is 2021 and we are still deciding whether a colour is good enough for a wedding or not?
Wait till you hear about certain brides that have worn black outfits for their wedding.

      • She wasnt saying about the color I guess. These days bollywood people dress ott at others wedding, but when it comes to their own, they turn up like they they are at others wedding. Even Sonam’s wedding dress for that matter. But her jewellery was bridal looks. Comming to Natasha, she wore similar lehenga in different color at Shloka Ambani’s wedding too. She wore similar jewellery too. Emerald and diamond..(I usually never say anything about bridal wear but…)

      • I said the same thing to my friends what Paddy said above. Its not about deciding what qualifies for a bridal color vs. not but how different did she look from other guests or when she was a guest at other people’s weddings. At the end of the day its a personal preference. My sister designed her wedding lengha about 18 yrs ago and picked non traditional colors so I am all for it.

    • Yeah.. in the pics the wedding attire’s looked pretty sobered and glittery, but in the inside wedding pics both outfits looked perfect.. almost dreamy for a wedding. The low key dressing and basic jewels made them shine so good. The white tones helped with silvery blings.
I really liked it, as against heavy duty jewellery, make up and larger than life wedding outfits.

  2. I believe Varun’s sherwani is manish Malhotra. It was confirmed by the designer. The wedding attires are reminiscent of clothing in late 90s blingy Bollywood movies and not my cup of tea.

  3. Sorry to say but both their outfits are reminiscent of the 90’s , very dated and washes them out completely . As a bride she needed something g brighter perhaps blush pink or even red .

  4. It’s a fairly neutral outfit .neither good nor bad.. but I love that she kept it modern and elegant .. otherwise I was sick of the Sabyasachi brides harking back to 1920.

  5. I love it! Love the pastel shade and light lehenga color. White bangles, white jewellery and whitish colors are not easy to pull off! Loved it. She really looks lovely without being overdone and I’m soo ready to see more real people getting married than overstyled couples.
I was so jaded with the Sabya brides that this felt really nice. Looks like the wedding planners (who also managed/arranged Virat-Anushka) love pastels!

  6. Congratulations to both the couple! They look great together.

That aside, the blingy pastel wedding clothes of both the groom and the bride are not my cup of tea. I feel they are dated. But then who cares, when they are so happy on their special day?

  7. Varun Dhawans sherwani looks HIDEOUS. What’s up with all the shine and bling? Reminds me of cheap Blingy Bollywood costumes from late 90s and early 20s.
Bride looks beautiful with simple make up and jewelry….. Her outfit also stands out amongst sea of all the OTT bridal lehengas topped with tons of costume jewelry.

  8. I find the outfits dull and washing them out. Also, why are a huge chunk of bollywood wives designers of some kind (interior, jewelry…) and that too without training in the field.

    • Natasha studied fashion at Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. I am not sure how good the college is but the point is that she has studied fashion.

  9. Both their outfits are very Manish Malhotra circa early 2000s, even if Natasha designed it herself. I don’t mind a pastel shade, some designer (probably Kresha) did a gorgeous white lehenga with their wedding story embroidered throughout the skirt. Natasha does look pretty though. She reminds me of Ileana D’Cruz

  10. I saw pictures where Natasha’s lehenga looks to be a super soft light green. It’s not white. hard to tell from the pictures though!

I love that she wore her own label.
