Teaming their kurtas with denims and comfy shoes, both Rakul and Neha took in a bit of travel recently. We’ve seen many versions of this look before in everyday life- it is easy, accessible and relatable. And while neither look may be much to write home about, of the two, I do prefer the overall vibe of Neha’s look better.

  1. I’m not sure what to call Neha’s “outfit”. Neither look is a home run but Rakul’s would look a lot better if not worn with jeans.

  2. I actually really like Neha’s outfit. It is a silhouette i would wear in a heartbeat. Easy breezy. Rakul’s outfit is too shiny for my liking, as a travel look.

  3. You must be kidding. What Vibes are you guys talking about? Bedsheet wrapping? The girl needs to embrace her curves and stop hiding behind those ugly voluminous nonsense. That too in a hot humid country like India.

Else just wear a Kurta, its simple, fuss-free, practical and HIDES whatever you are trying to…

    • I personally like oversized clothes and like the idea of clothes not being too snug against my skin. And it’s not to hide my body. And I prefer this especially in humid Chennai.
I think she always preferred this silhouette even from before. Not sure, but that’s my recollection.

But I didn’t like this particular one.

      • I like oversized things too (especially in Chennai – gives some breathing room), but you can still have something be oversized but neat, if the style is cut to fall nicely (including taking into consideration the fabric construction). If the length were shorter and the fabric slightly weightier (to hold its own shape), I might like this. But as is, it just comes off as messy.

  4. Oh dear Neha ! Thats all I can say. What a messy jhola look. Get over these choga silhouettes already. They do not do anything to her. Extremely unflattering.

  5. Am I the only one finding Rakul’s silk-ish kurta with denims weird? It’s such a no-no for me!
I have anyway given up on Neha Dhupia’s sartorial sense long ago when she moved to these billowy clothes – more like bedsheets with hands cut out in them and then randomly stitched in places.
