Wioooh she’s gorgeous, the pink and gold is beautiful on her.. why do people wear full sleeve blouse.. nevertheless, love this look.
Her smile wins. Already imagining her with an elbow length blouse that would have elevated the richness of this look. In that case, the maang tikka wouldn’t have felt excessive either.
Very pretty…. lovely colour….but too overdressed for the occasion ….no ?
She looks gorgeous!
though i wish the blouse didn’t have the choker details.. but that’s just me.. it feels a bit excessive given the maang tikka and large earrings.
Still, love the look!
It’s a nice sari to wear to one of your own wedding functions (If bling is your thing) … It’s a bit too much for a trailer launch.
I liked the colour of the sari in the designer’s catalogue.
Most of the clothing for the movie related events will be a bit ‘excessive’ given that this is a historical movie.
Aditi and Aishwarya were dressed normally. Sobhita wore a piece from the movie.
Trisha plays the role of a Chola princess, so the opulence is totally warranted.
Beautiful!! Love the full sleeves , the color . I don’t personally like maang tika but considering the movie they are promoting a little ott bling is expected.
She looks nice but didn’t care for the blingy saree at all, would isn’t preferred a nice kanjivaram considering the movie
Wouldve made for a classic look.
Would have preferred* typo
The saree is nice… Maang tikka is too much for a trailer launch. More of a wedding look
She looks nice but the matha pati isn’t so good. Aishwarya (Lekshmi) and Aditi also wore a similar pink but it looked a bit dialled down.
But seriously who had eyes for anyone else when Sobhita turned up fully in character. She totally owned it.
I love this look. Given her princessy role in this movie, it is totally fine. She looks good! She is one of the pivotal characters in this Mani Ratnam drama which is a big deal…I like her in this!
The plain full sleeve blouse pairs well with the heavy saree actually. Wouldn’t have considered it but even the bejewelled neckline looks good.
So beautiful!
The maang tikka was unnecessary but it doesn’t hurt either.
Given the theme of the movie, her look is on point. That is a very beautiful saree.
Shorter sleeved blouse without the mang tikka would gave looked much better
For a little more context, this movie is based on one of the greatest Tamil epics and generations of film makers tried to unsuccessfully bring this to the big screen. So, all the grand outfits do not seem out of place at all as this is more than a trailer launch, it is a big celebration of the industry.
