In Amit Aggarwal
Tripti attended the Filmfare OTT Awards on Saturday evening wearing a strapless gown by Amit Aggarwal. While I love the desigener’s work, the contrast bow placed on the side pushed this gown a bit into the WTHeyy territory. Me no likey the gown one bit.
Did you?

The bow and extra red cloth could have been cut out and made into masks for all the attendees. Seriously, the pandemic is still on ppl. SMH.
Ditto!!!
The bow might have looked good on the back of the dress. As is, it feels very forced and unnecessary.
Hahaha..wait…hahahahhahhaha
Agree. That bow is what happens when one unnecessarily overdesigns.
I don’t know if i like it or i not!
Me too…. Really confused…
The bow and the poor black gown look mismatched, from two totally different worlds.
Imagining this design with a deep pitch black gown and a better red bow and the design’s a winner.
The 2 photos look like they were worn by 2 different people – especially the hair is so different in the red carpet vs studio.
You know how when you procrastinate and at the last minute pick out a Christmas present and hurriedly slap on a haphazard bow on it to make it look giftable? Yeah…
The dress is more like a gift pack
This is giving me serious marine serre vibes…not in a good way…
overdesigned
I kind of liked it, was whimsical to me and, tis aftreall the holiday season. So the bow reference was allright 🙂 I tried getting all hoity toity and not like it, but some how the more I see it, the whole look is quite nice (imho). And Tripti looks very charming.
You described exactly what I was feeling but unable to put in words….
What were you thinking Amit!!! Why did you want to hide the beautiful and elegant gown under that atrocity!
Please don’t try too hard designers!! Remember what Coco Chanel said – “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off.”
So before you make your sample remove the last design detail you thought of adding and I really hope that is the bow in this case!
