Doing black & white in a Zara top & skirt was Sonam at the press meet of Mausam. One to always keep it different, Sonam changed it up by swapping red lips for hot pink.

Love the geometric pattern created by the hem of the top and the side of the skirt but we would’ve preferred a top that transitioned a lil’ more smoothly to give the illusion of a dress.

P.S. Since so many of you have asked, that is a Bvlgari serpent watch on her.

Considering that I own a pair of this Zara culottes in blue, let me admit that I am a lil’ biased towards the culottes. They are comfy, colorful and fabulous for travelling!

Having said that, I can’t say that I love the look on Deepika. She makes them look rather boring by pairing it with a tank and worse, the gold waist chain belt. But then, that’s just me. What say you?

Considering that Ms. Malik is top heavy, wearing a fitted tuxedo blazer (a really bad one at that) didn’t really help. Adding multi-necklaces to the look was the last nail on the coffin.

If she had kept it simple like the model, we would have loved the brocade dress on her.

It’s turning out to be a day of magazine covers!

For Femina’s Sept issue, it was model-turned-actress Lisa Haydon, dressed in Zara and Masaba. Though not exactly novel, the cover does make for a refreshing change from the perfectly poised portrait covers. We like.

Of Amrita’s three recent looks, the one in black dress (Zara) is my favorite. Yours?

P.S: With the pink dress, Amrita accessorized with a BV hobo and Jimmy Choo heels. In the black number (Zara), it was a Thomas Wylde clutch paired with nude Choos. And finally, in the grey number Amrita went with a Chanel clutch and Louboutin heels.
