We’re not sure if it was planned, but Ms. Padukone inadvertently did stripes both for the promotional ad (in a Marc Cain dress) and her actual appearance on IPL Extraa Innings (in a Zara striped blazer).

Of the two looks, loved the latter appearance which we don’t have great pics of but if you caught her on TV, she looked phenom!

From high-fashion on Sunday, Deepika went high-street in Zara at a promotional event for YJHD keeping it simple in Zara from head to toe. From what we see, the sandals are neon which add that lil’ bit of zing to the look.

Deepika kept it casual in a tee, cropped skinnys and a Zara floral-print blazer while taking in a movie. Thong sandals, a style she seems to favor, finished out her look.

Trust Deepika to make almost anything work. But, I don’t like that printed blazer one bit. And the more I look at it, the less inclined I am to like this look. (I blame the pair o’ light denims too that makes the blazer that much more prominent.)

In an ASOS dress and a Zara jacket, Avantika put in an appearance at the recent event. Side-swept hair and a metallic clutch completed her look. It was however the addition of Surendri By Yogesh Chaudhary earrings and belt that brought the look home. She looked great!

(But, are those nudes pumps? Let’s just pretend we didn’t see that.)
