Vidya helped unveil a book in Mumbai on Tuesday wearing a hand-painted silk Picchika sari with an Amrapali bracelet and a Jaipur Watch Company watch.

In theory, I should love this look instantly, especially given the pearl element and the sari itself. But, the blouse with its sheen, is keeping me on the fence.

Divya did desi at the Dangal success bash wearing a navy Mint Blush design showcasing an ikat weave. Hair in an updo, her look was finished out with Sangeeta Boochra jhumkis, a silver Accessorize by Anandita bag, and Fizzy Goblet jootis.

There was nothing to fault here. She looked lovely.

Vidya interacted with students of Anupam Kher’s acting school at a seminar today and kept it casual in Bungalow 8 separates that included her signature big silver necklace, this one being a Sangeeta Boochra.

Some of you may find the outfit a bit dowdy but I quite liked it. That is until I saw the shoes and really wished she’d picked a pair of simple kolhapuris.

If you didn’t like the separates itself, then you won’t be as disappointed as I was by the footwear choice. Look inside to see what am talking about.

In Raw Mango

Vidya was one of the very few to do a sari at the Filmfare Awards and boy, were we glad to see her in one. She donned a silk striped Raw Mango one with jewellery from Johri by Amaze and completed her look with a middle-parted updo complete with red roses.

While she looked sweet, part of me wished that she had worn her hair not middle-parted. It somehow ages her so much more.

At the screening of Dangal, Vidya was seen in a Natasha J suit with Amrapali beads and classic kolhapuris. Her wearing the hair untied may seem messy to some, but I didn’t mind it. The screening was a casual affair and the outfit matched the setting.

I liked it.
