Vijay’s costumes are a bit ridiculous and silly for the ocassion in question. What is this some rich people’s flippant code to wear disrespectful shabby pyjamas to show their irreverence to middle class institutions like marriage? I can remember a few other celeb grooms arriving this way after the wedding. The girl is so put together, why couldn’t the guy put 2 cents of effort.
Most little boys fancy themselves to be some Mafia boss who debuts post wedding in the 21st century equivalent of an 80s Jeetendra kurta and lungi; modest adoring young wife in arms. The post suhaag raat uniform. This is a choice bit of ridiculousness.
