Vidya picked a purple-oxblood colored gown to wear to a recent Awards event and I hate to say it, it wasn’t one of my favorite looks from the evening. I get that the sleek pulled back hair was so as to not add more volume to the look but it didn’t quite work. Between those sleeves, the silhouette and volume, it all just felt dated. We’ve seen Ms. Balan do better!

It was a two sari day for Ms. Balan who attended at roundtable talk wearing a striped black and white sari and then the Monga-Kapoor pre-wedding party in a floral Raw Mango one. At first glance, I didn’t quite like the shirt on her but the more I look at it, the more I fould myself warming up to it. As for the earlier look, got no complaints. She looked great in it!
