Wearing a Mrunalini Rao lehenga, Vidya attended an Awards event held not too long ago. With her hair pulled back in to a knot, she rounded out the look with an Amrapali necklace.
I am not the biggest fan of this lehenga but do think Vidya made it work for her; she looked good. That said, I do wish she had opted for a softer do. I get that the choice of hairstyle was perhaps to balance out the busy print/embellished details and statement necklace, but it still seemed too severe. A minor gripe only though.

I actually loved her hair (and make up that so on point), it brings out the beauty of the necklace and blouse cut very nicely.
I think she looks great and the lehenga, though super busy, works wonderfully on her.
The necklace complements the neckline and is cleverly balanced by the clean do and skipping earrings.
Vidya is styled well for the past few years. There are hardly any failed looks these days.
Great that she finally figured out what looks best on her.

She looks super-chill. That’s so amazing coz it’s not a neckline she does often but there’s no awkwardness or look-at-me-ness about this at all.

This outfit looked liked a dream in motion. I think the hair here is perfect, it balances out the outfit’s volume and embellishments. And the necklace is a smart choice too. It helps the low cut choli veer away from being too cleavagey.

Lovely color on her and she’s not overwhelmed by the print. I too would have liked to see a softer updo would have complimented the print better. And maybe a ring – only because she strikes that pose a lot, so some embellishment would be interesting. Overall she looks great.
And that is how you do cleavage! Period.
