Cover Wars

It was a red Versace again for the lone lady (Priyanka) on GQ India’s Men Of The Year edition. Got a preference? We sure do! Don’t know what we hate more: Priyanka’s silly pose (and bad styling) or the fact that Aamir looks like they just morphed a Ghajini pic of his on someone else.

P.S. Since we couldn’t find a big pic of the full cover, had to juxtapose from two different images. Catch the smaller pic inside for the actual cover.

Photoshoot Wars!

A gown making an appearance in different publications has happened a number of times already and the latest to make its round is the Spring 2010 Versace gown seen first on Jacqueline and now on Aishwarya. Let’s not forget, we also saw this on the I Am She winner Ushoshi too.

We think we need a new category to cover this phenomena! 😛

Thanks ‘deepika’ for sending it in.

From Cover To Pageant

Ushoshi Sengupta was the winner of the I Am She contest and gets to be India’s representative the the upcoming Ms. Universe contest in August. What surprised us though was seeing the same Versace gown on her that we just saw on the cover of Vogue India on Jacqueline. Lucky gal!

Versace Cares Bags

We may not be big fans of Versace bags but these totes made our hearts skip a beat. From Art Unites (a collaboration between the house of Versace, the Whitney and the Starlight Foundation), each tote is printed with an original drawing created by a young victim of illness in the US or an earthquake survivor in China. The drawings were made with materials donated by Art Unites and proceeds go to the Starlight Foundation and the One Foundation.

Each tote (costing $250) is made from canvas and is available at GILT today. Don’t have an account? Click Here for your invite.
