At LFW on Thursday, Sonali took in Wendell Rodrick’s show wearing a gorgeous sari. Unfortunately, between that sheer sleeved blouse and the heavy make-up, the overall look felt a bit loud.

I have been following Ms. Kulkarni a while now and have noticed she wear a lot of pretty saris but each and every time, her makeup lets her down. Here’s hoping she keeps it more simple the next time and gives us a look that feels more natural and not too dolled-up.

Of the saris that we saw at this event, we loved Manisha’s Chanderi. But, it’s only the sari that we did like. If she had worn it better, the look would’ve been a love. But then, this is one of the better appearances that we’ve seen her in, of late.

Sonali wore her black sari again this time going for a black blouse instead of contrasting like she did before with a red one.

While, my vote goes to the black on black one, which one gets yours?

I think Sonali looks adorable, its just that her dress lets her down. Badly. Very badly. We know Sonali can up the ante when she wants to, so we’ll just keep hoping she gets it all right one of these days!

As for Udita, she picked a color combination thats tricky at best and fell majorly short of pulling it off! Its mostly those shoes… yikes!
