At the audio launch of Srimanthudu, Shruti was seen in a blue Swapnil Shinde maxi, one that she wore with a severe high ponytail and red lips. Except for the color of the maxi, nothing here worked in her favor. The droopy shiny fabric looked horrible under the flashes and don’t even get me started on the shimmery shorts detail under the skirt. She can do so much better!

This was a blue that gave us the blues.

Two different off-duty appearances saw Ms. Haasan sporting looks that included a kitschy bag. While we loved the maxi look, can’t say the same about the dress one. The rooster bag wasn’t one that we liked to begin with and wearing it crossbody only made the look more awkward.

Giving us a bit of drama on the red carpet was Shruti in her Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sequin skirt and bustier style sheer top. Keeping the hair sleek in an updo was a great way of balancing out the look.

I’ve looked at many pics and in just about all of them it was evident that the cups of the top was a few sizes too small and that was a bit distracting.

After a slew of “Bollywood-ized” looks from Ms. Haasan, the actor surprised us (in a wholly good way) with her appearance at an event held last night. Wearing a Diesel suit, Shruti did what she used to do best, sexy with a side of irreverence. With her hair in an interesting updo, she finished out the look with a Judith Leiber ‘Little Black Book’ clutch and black booties. Not much to fault here; she looked great! We like.
