Throwing us a curveball was Shruti at the audio launch of the Telugu movie Uttama Villain . Not that we’re complaining one bit. In the pink Gaurang chanderi and gold jewellery, the actor-singer looked lovely. We sure love!
Wearing a fresh off the LFW runway Nishka Lulla look, Shruti helped unveil the trailer of Gabbar on Monday. As you can see, her top was modified a quite a bit, a move that I am a bit on the fence on only cuz I liked the casual vibe the runway version had.
Overall though, she looked great in the one-toned look and part of that credit goes to the tousled do and the done-just-right bronzed make-up.
Shruti gave us a rather offbeat look at the Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards that made for a very interesting look. The tiered Kristy De Cunha gown with the halo braid and all the accessories (the Leiber clutch and Outhouse earrings) at first felt a lot to take in at first glance but the more we looked at it, the more we liked it. A lot of it also had to do with the fact that Shruti wore the look with ease without being overwhelmed.
I do think though, she should’ve saved this look for a music related red carpet event.
What do you think of the look? Love it, hate it or are you on the fence?

It was a family affair at the music launch of Shamitabh with dad Kamal and Shruti in attendance lending their support to Akshara. For the event, Shruti wore an Arpita Mehta lehenga with a matching mirrored grey potli and hair in german style braids.
Between the hairdo and the sheer choli with its stark lining, the overall look just felt overkill. A simpler black top and maybe our eyes wouldn’t feel like they were being drawn in every direction.
Shruti attented a press meet for Filmfare in Hyderabad last week wearing a sequin Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna sequin jacket with a black tank and black denims.
The outfit was spunky but I wish the make-up and hairdo had been more edgy. Like what you see?
