Tamil actor Amala Paul tied the knot with director Vijay last week. The wedding festivities saw the bride in a pink Anita Dongre lehenga at the sangeet, a red Kanjeevaram at the traditional wedding ceremony, a white gown by Himani at the ring exchange ceremony and a gold Sabyasachi floor-length anarkali at the reception. Jewellery from Amrapali and Joy Allukas finished out the wedding trousseau.

Wearing Sabyasachi, Priyanka attended an event held in Mumbai last night. With her hair in an updo, a bindi, red lip and earrings from Amrapali finished out her look. Given her past few appearances, this look sure makes for a change! Ms. Chopra looked nice even though between the blouse and drape, the look felt a tad severe.

Aishwarya, who is a SmileTrain ambassador, attended a reception celebrating the charity organization’s millionth surgery. The do hosted at 10 Downing Street in London saw her in a black Sabyasachi lehenga paired with a black floral top (not sure if it too is Sabya) and finished out with a McQueen knuckleduster clutch and belt.

I wouldn’t mind the belt if the top was all black but given the floral pattern, the top half looked a bit odd. Is it a deal breaker for you?
