While out in Mumbai recently, Rhea was photographed keeping things casual in sweats, a tee and sneakers. Adding a pinstripe blazer to the separates, the stylist/filmmaker rounded out the look with a Balenciaga bag. Going the more dressed-up route at fashion week, Rhea sat front row at Kunal Rawal’s show wearing separates by the designer in question. Pair of chunky boots and an Hermès ‘Kelly’ were among her accessories of choice.

The Kapoor sisters attended a wedding on Sunday evening where Rhea was seen in an Anamika Khanna lehenga featuring custom artwork by Babbu and Sonam in a sharara from Good Earth‘s first ever couture line.
In the professionally shot pics, they sure looked lovely, especially thanks to the color-coordinated backdrop that enhanced each outfit. But, now that I’ve seen some of the casual pics on Instagram, am a bit on the fence about the sheer overlay and Sonam’s top.
Love ’em both or have a preference?

The Kapoor sisters celebrated dad Anil’s birthday on Christmas eve with close friends and family. Sonam was seen in a pin-striped dress from 16Arlington, a UK based label. Rhea wore a vintage Versace corset with a Situationist boxy blazer and A.W.A.K.E Mode pants.
As a person who loves anti-fit dresses, I did love Sonam’s but overall, even with the red lip, her makeup felt dull. As for Rhea, I can imagine the joy of wearing a vintage iconic Versace corset but the fit at the cups was way off.

At the Ambani-Piramal wedding, Sonam was seen in a custom Anamika Khanna lehenga with Amrapali emerald and diamond earrings. Also wearing custom Anamika featuring the “Everthing is AK-OK” + name verbiage was sister Rhea a few weeks ago to the Padukone-Singh wedding reception.
I don’t mind the statement lettering. I actually loved Rhea’s outfit. But, the addition of the names was where all love was lost. If it was a subtle note in small lettering from the designer to the girls, I’d understand. As is though, it just looked garish. The entire charm of the whole celebrity is lost when the celebrity them-self is wearing a giant lettering of their own name. It just seems a bit self-centered. But, then I guess that is the name of the game.
