Rekha was back in sari mode at Javed Akhtar’s party wearing a matka silk one with a full-sleeve blouse. We normally see her in loads of jewellery but here she kept it relatively low key.
She looked nice.

It seems like Rekha has ditched the sari for good these days and while I’d like to say that’s a good thing, from the look of things, it doesn’t seem so.

We see Rekha in her traditional sari looks so much that when she does a different look, it instantly makes for a refreshing change. Barring the sneakers, I for one, quite liked her here.

Rekha was felicitated with a Lifetime Achievement Award on the opening night of the Dubai International Film Festival and she attended the ceremony sporting her signature look but with her hair down. Sunday evening, she attended the Star Screen Awards wearing another heavy silk sari but wore her hair up in a bun complete with mogra.

Rekha and Madhu Chopra (Priyanka’s mom) gave us sari sightings last week with the former sporting her signature decked up look and the latter going rather simple.
Can’t quite say much about Rekha but we were really liking Mrs. Chopra in her light pink sari. Remember Priyanka wearing a similar one in yellow?
