Wearing a slouchy/relaxed suit by Nirmooha, Rakul attended her movie’s screening in Mumbai recently. Understated jewelry aside, she rounded out the look with a pair of Nike sneakers.

Not the biggest fan of these separates (the proportions were off and the color did nothing for her), but had a bigger issue with styling. Sneakers don’t always work, and repeat after me- sneakers don’t work with every thing every time. This look was bit of a miss!

Wearing lamé/metallic mini dresses, both Janhvi and Tamannaah attended their respective events (soirees) in Mumbai. While one paired hers with a pair of classic pumps, the other teamed her dress with white sneakers. Not a fan of either dress but Tamannaah’s was especially bad, it did absolutely nothing for the actor.

Doing Denim

Both Shibani and Pooja stepped out wearing their distressed denims not too long ago. And both times, Shibani went with black tops and sandals, and Pooja with white tops and sneakers. Thing with distressed denim is, it only works if it’s just the right amount of distressed and frayed. While neither look was anything to write home about, Shibani’s denims especially gave us a pause. When going casual, Rakul almost always opts for denims and sneakers. Of her recent appearances featured here, the sighting in the simple suit and matching jacket and shorts set definitely made for a welcome change of pace. And if I had to pick one look that stood out to me most, I’d pick the latter- the matching jacket and shorts set. Though still denim at the end of it, Rakul did look good.

For their outings not too long ago, both Rakul and Bhavana stepped out wearing green dresses. Teaming them with sneakers, both ladies rounded out their looks with designer bags.
