Wearing a Proenza Schouler top with Zara denims, Deepika attended a recent event. With her hair in a ponytail, the actor finished out the look with a pair of white pumps from Christian Louboutin. While a part of me loves the starkness of the look, especially the way the clothes play off against the rather sweet hair and make-up… The proportions themselves were an issue. Given the flared pants, wish Ms. Padukone had chosen something with lesser volume on top. Or gone the whole hog, throw on some chunky accessories and given us a complete Seventies feel. As it stands, underwhelming as it was, she can’t be faulted waist-up!

Shveta was photographed taking in the shows on day one of Fashion Week sporting two different looks. First, she paired her boyfriend jeans and basic tank with a plaid Doodlage shirt. A tribal-esque necklace, boho cutch and Steve Madden pumps finished out the look. She later changed in to a Huemn dress, one that she paired with a Proenza Schouler clutch and black wedges. Near nude make-up and updos finished out the look both times.
Though she looked good in both, I like the look in denims just a wee bit more. Had she swapped out her clutch for the Proenza she later carried and wore white pumps instead of the red ones she had on, it would’ve been even better!
