The cast of All We Imagine As Light along with director Payal Kapadia attended the screening of their movie on Thursday evening with almost everyone opting for an ethnic look barring Kani. She wore a Salt dress with mary jane pumps, big earrings, flowers in her hair and a bindi. I personally don’t care for bindis with dresses but will take an individualistic style choice over the same ole ole.

Chhaya’s layered look with the nath was interesting but I was on the fence about the nath addition. All together was a bit too busy for my taste. Loved Haroon’s mundu and kurta look and Divya’s copper shirt-gown from Pranaah. The exposed bikini top, not so much.

At Onam celebrations last year, Keerthy was seen in a striped Kasavu sari from Poornima Indrajith paired with a green blouse, green jhumkis, and red bangles. She looked lovely!

At Asin and Rahul’s wedding reception, Jacqueline paid homage to Asin’s Kerala roots by wearing a lehenga made of the traditional white and gold sari. Traditional necklaces, jhumkis and a Louis Vuitton petite malle clutch finished our her reception look.

Nayanthara attended the 100th day celebrations of Raja Rani wearing a printed half-sari by Poornima Indrajith featuring images of models from what seemed like a fashion glossy. (Although at first, we were convinced that was Ms. Taylor Swift on the sari.)

While Nayanthara looked nice, can’t say we feel the same about the sari. It was baaaad. Plus, why put a print on the pallu upside down? Also, anyone else getting a Satya Paul déjà vu?
