Of Screenings

The cast of All We Imagine As Light along with director Payal Kapadia attended the screening of their movie on Thursday evening with almost everyone opting for an ethnic look barring Kani. She wore a Salt dress with mary jane pumps, big earrings, flowers in her hair and a bindi. I personally don’t care for bindis with dresses but will take an individualistic style choice over the same ole ole.

Chhaya’s layered look with the nath was interesting but I was on the fence about the nath addition. All together was a bit too busy for my taste. Loved Haroon’s mundu and kurta look and Divya’s copper shirt-gown from Pranaah. The exposed bikini top, not so much.

  1. They all could wear sackcloths and I would still be rooting for them. They look luminous and this is their moment. You go girls…. and guy.

  2. Loved Haroon’s kurta and Kadam’s silk skirt. The bralette over the white shirt seems very interesting but honestly, there are too many contrasting layers for it to make an impact.

  6. Just Wanted to tell you that thé watermelon bag is not a fashion faux pas.
It’s a political act, she supports Palestine ?? and express it that way.
Lets say that French government is not really propalestinian. So i Must say that it’s really touching to see that positive act.

  7. They all look gorgeous bunch of talented people thats what Cannes hosts . Talent ! And you selectively missed Nancy who made her beautiful dresses way better than big fashion houses who made celebrities look like no comments . Please make it inclusive space to celebrate talent without any label too , you show snoozefest appearances if same set of people .
