Ms Hegde chose a sparkly silver number from Jenny Packham to wear to the Filmfare Awards and the gown actually was fun. What wasn’t though was the lipstick shade or the hair do. The stylist and her went the safe route and the look just wasn’t as exciting as it should’ve been. Even a hot pink lip would’ve elevated this look so much more.

For her two back-to-back outings, Pooja picked Magda Butrym separates to wear. Not a fan of either of these looks, the rosettes were especially bad.
Pooja looked like she was drowning in that lilac oversized blazer, and the red separates just looked so dated- anyone else get old school Gauri and Nainika vibe from that look? Either way, Spring might have sprung but Style stayed behind in hibernation. Meh!

Both Pooja and Sayani attended a recent Iftar party wearing saris, but that’s about where the similarity ended. While the former picked a sparkly black ruffled sari by Arpita Mehta, the latter served up some color in her magenta-toned sari by Vvani. Heavy smoky eyes on Pooja, striking lip color on Sayani and statement necklaces on both is how they rounded out their look.
Pooja’s look seems somewhat off for an Iftar party, but that’s just us. Sayani had the color going for her but can’t say we were big fans of that embellished blouse or bib necklace. Feel differently?

For the trailer launch of her upcoming movie, Pooja picked a Gauri and Nainika gown to wear. She looked nice but can we agree that the look lacked all novelty? It’s not so much the gown’s fault, it’s just that there was no reason to bring out a voluminous tulle gown with a train at that for a trailer launch. Especially looking at how practically everyone else was dressed at the event.
Over-exposure to evening wear is why most red carpet events are lately so underwhelming!
