In Gauri And Nainika
For the trailer launch of her upcoming movie, Pooja picked a Gauri and Nainika gown to wear. She looked nice but can we agree that the look lacked all novelty? It’s not so much the gown’s fault, it’s just that there was no reason to bring out a voluminous tulle gown with a train at that for a trailer launch. Especially looking at how practically everyone else was dressed at the event.
Over-exposure to evening wear is why most red carpet events are lately so underwhelming!

Could not agree more!
Too much all the time!
Nevertheless, I think Pooja looks lovely!
The tulle train is so much so that the girl in red has to have a very awkward extended hug
But it is s nice gown in a beautiful colour. And certainly better than the ‘practical’ clothes Palak Tiwari next to her is wearing
🙂 What I meant by that was- Practically everyone meaning nearly everyone, and not how everyone was dressed practically.
that’s not how the comment read to each of your readers
Clearly! (Oops!)
So well said. I was wondering what is so “practical” about the red dress and black dress worn by women next to Pooja!
Both gowns and lehenga sightings have become underwhelming!
This gives an all-new meaning to “inappropriate,” hahah!
Practicality is less of an issue than originality – it’s heavily inspired by Giambattista Valli
Even though it’s totally out of place , I feel G&N are the only Indian designer who make good evening wear (western style) rest of them are just draping yards of shiny shimmery material.
I feel she looks great. That color is so delish!
