Samantha and Raj tied the knot today in Coimbatore with the bride wearing a benarasi sari embellished by Arpita Mehta with a blouse designed by Jayati Bose and the groom wore a kurta and jacket set from Tarun Tahliani .

Samantha attended Indian Independence day events in New York wearing a Ritu Kumar for the parade and an Arpita Mehta sari for another event. The whole velvet suit with those colored shades gave off a heavy Sabya vibe. Having said that, she did wear the look well. As for the Arpita Mehta, it is striking at first glance but I wasn’t a fan of the pallu being worn as a strip of cloth. But, that’s me.

At an event for her upcoming movie, Samantha sported a red Sabyasachi sari and a printed Arpita Mehta lehenga (for a performance). She looked nice in the sari but the fact that the sari was Sabya was quite a surprise. It didn’t really stand out. As for the lehenga, I wasn’t a fan of the jarring black top against the printed skirt.

While promoting her movie on the sets of a television show, Rasika was photographed in Pallavi Singh separates. With her hair pulled back in a sleek low ponytail, she rounded out the look with understated make-up, minimal jewelry and pair of classic black pumps.
Like the jacket on or off? Though initially I preferred the look minus the jacket, I do think its addition helps with the proportions more on Rasika. She looked nice.

It was a feathered Shriya Som gown for Lavanya while at the recent awards event. Side-swept hair, red lip, diamond jewelry and nude sandals rounded out the actor’s look. Though she wears the gown well, there was just something about the look that felt lacking. Metallic/statement sandals, a striking lip color and more seamless lining on the bodice would’ve gone a long in elevating this look. As it stands, this was a Not Quite.
