Double Wide!

I have never been a fan of extra-wide dhoti pants (Gaurav Gupta?) and this appearance of Neha is not going to change my opinion of them. My preferences aside, while on some it would have looked ridiculous, Neha still manages to pull it off. The pants only that is. As for the whole look, it may have worked if the top was sleeveless and non-sheer and the sandals more of an ankle cut-off one to balance out the whole look.

Who knew the wide patialas worn by her character would have such a drastic effect on Ms. Dhupia! 😛

In Label By Ritu Kumar

While promoting her upcoming movie in Delhi, Ms. Dhupia was spotted in a Label By Ritu Kumar dress and from the picture, looks like she wore it as it was presented on the runway but also adding a silver necklace to the look.

Too bad we don’t have a full-length to get a better picture.

Keeping It Casual

Ms. Dhupia gave us a casual look in Hyderabad in a yellow draped dress that had a grey tee underlay. Not a fan of the dress itself, but the color was cheery and those sandals delish!

Velveteen

Ms. Dhupia made an appearance at the launch of designer Rimple and Harpreet Narula’s new store ‘Theater’ wearing an aubergine strapless gown. Neha looked lovely (especially waist up) but the gown itself felt a wee bit overwhelming (to me anyways) with its flared velvet skirt and mesh overlay detail.

Switching It Up

I picked this Spring 2010 look for Soniya but turns out that Neha stole it for the event. Well, half of it anyways. Instead of going with the silk lace skirt, Neha opted for black harem pants which I don’t mind but I really wish she had pulled the hair back into a pony. The red lips then would’ve made for a fierce look! (And showed off the sheer part more.)
