For her appearance at a recent awards event, Janhvi picked a Manish Malhotra sari to wear. With her hair in a braid, the actor rounded out the look with Amrapali jewelry and pair of platform-sandals. Both the color and styling worked for her; Ms. Kapoor looked lovely.

Pooja attended the Chandon dinner hosted by Manish Malhotra wearing a gown by the designer. The slinky gown already wasn’t my cup of tea but after seeing that huge net rosette at the back, I had to put it in the “I hate it” category.

For yet another round of movie promotions, Alia picked a yellow Manish Malhotra suit to wear. And for the screening, it was a Pero dress. She looked good in both. Loved the cheery yellow on her. And the summery dress worked well too; much preferred it without the jacket though.

Also wearing custom Manish Malhotra at the SOTY 2 trailer launch was Tara. It seems like the instructions for the making of this dress was “a young girl who is modern but loves her roots” and while I appreciate the addition of the Kashmiri embroidery, did that really have to translate to a strapless poorly designed ill-fitted mini? Ms. Sutaria has looked so much better at her previous appearances.
