As seems to have been the theme that evening, Kanika didn’t shy away from shimmer either. For the occasion, she picked a sequinned Manish Malhotra sari, one that she teamed with a sheer corset and a voluminous cape that featured beaded tassels and fringe.
A Vogue event is a good place to take fashion risks but this look just wasn’t my cup of tea. I know that the cape was used to bring in drama but it looks so over-designed. Wish she had ditched that and just picked a different corset and worked the heck out of that sari.

During the course of movie promotions recently, Kriti was photographed in saris while at two different events.
For one appearance, she picked an olive-green Abraham & Thakore sari. Wearing her hair in a braid, she rounded out the look with silver jewelry and white sneakers. And while on the sets of a television show, it was a Manish Malhotra sari for her.
The yellow MM sari was just too fussy for me. As much as that color worked for her, much preferred her in the green A&T sari.
