Besides Salman and Sonakshi, Jacqueline and Sri Lankan cricketer Kumar Sangakkara also walked the IIFA Fashion Rocks runway in Manish Malhotra outfits. Jacqueline wore a beige-colored empire-waisted long top with a velvet lehenga (a full length of which you can find here), while Kumar wore a blue embroidered sherwani with white churidaars.

Compared to Sonakshi, Jacqueline definitely fared better on the runway.

In the past, we’ve seen ladies (Madhuri and Aishwarya) don some OTT saris to the Padma Shri awards and we haven’t been fans. But, they were winners. Kareena, on the other hand, coordinated with Saif’s white sherwani by wearing a white Manish Malhotra and for a guest was dressed just right.

The outfit was formal but not outlandish and a good choice because it didn’t take attention away from Saif. Because, after all, it was Saif’s moment.

Manish Malhotra’s showing was expected. No surprises there. Lot of net, blushes and pinks and the usual saris and the anarkali like voliminous clothes. He did play around with geometric prints but it was just so lacking in punch.

The Bollywood angle was still around with the with the models walking to a song from ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’ at the beginning of the show. The runway was high-energy and the models sure looked like they were having a good time. Unfortunately for Manish, they stole all attention from his clothes.
