Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha’s upcoming movie ‘Dabangg’ was unveiled at the IIFA Awards and the pair walked the runway at the fashion show which also showed a collection by Vikram Phadnis. Salman seemed to be in character while Sonakshi wore a lehenga designed by Vikram Phadnis.
The lehenga is quite pretty but the choli seems so busy with all that patchwork and not very flattering either.

but one thing for sure, sabya doesn’t own the paisleys and motifs. So, what if he turned into a big fashion “in thing”. MM is “just” drawing inspiration. ( the comment is all sarcastic for MM).
Salman looks great – though he could lose the mustache if it wasn’t for the in-character look. Sonakshi I’m not feeling so much. Don’t like the top half of the outfit at all – in particular how the dupatta is draped.
Its a nice change to see him with a mustache is what i feel.
Btw, how did he grow back hair on his head ? In some films earlier, it looked way less than it is right now.

I cant believe Manish is going on copying Sabyasachi outright!!! Agreed Sabya does not have any rights or patents over ethnic prints, but he def has a style of combining them together with his borders.
Manish has just looked at a Sabya lehngha and tried to copy everything with the tackiest and chepest borders he could find!
As far as his design sensibilites are concerned, that ugly blouse he decided to pair that lehngha with – has summed his capabilities completely as a designer.

The choli could have fit better and i dnt like the way she has draped her dupata…..though i like this MM….its a break from the chiffon and bling…
That choli is abominable! I know many Marwari ladies who excel at making better lehengas. The duppata is too short.

Who is MM? This is designed by Vikram Phadnis, not Manish malhotra.
