Madhuri is stuck in a rut and, a dated one at that. Rather unfortunate. Urmila didn’t fare too well either. Of the three ladies to wear anarkalis at a recent event, Sonali was the clear winner in hers which she paired with Ferragamo peep-toe pumps.

We’ll admit, we were a lil’ surprised to see Mads in a gown (in real life) at the Vogue Beauty Awards. But, it all became clear once we found out that Ms. Dixit is the Aug cover girl of Vogue India, a pic of which you’ll find inside.

Also wearing a v-neck black gown to the same do was Tisca.

We may have picked on Madhuri for her dated desi style but in this case, are siding with her for looking tonz better thanks to the gown. That odd side drape just looked weird on Tisca.

Not a fan of the saris themselves but Madhuri wears ’em well. We however continue to take issue with her styling which just seems so dated. The do Ms. Dixit is sporting at the press-meet (image on the left) does great disservice to her!

Having seen her just the other day in a beige Varun Bahl, we’d have liked to see Madhuri don something different to the designer’s show at the Delhi Couture Week.

Having said that, much prefer this to the other. Although, do think the necklace could’ve been given a miss. Made the top half look too busy.
