Samantha and Raj tied the knot today in Coimbatore with the bride wearing a benarasi sari embellished by Arpita Mehta with a blouse designed by Jayati Bose and the groom wore a kurta and jacket set from Tarun Tahliani .
Shruti picked a purple Falguni And Shane Peacock gown for her appearance at IIFA Utsavam. The semi-sheer corset top-half played off well against the voluminous bottom-half of the gown. A berry lip and side-swept hair is all that it took to finish out the look. She wears the dress well; Ms. Haasan looked good!
Shruti and Mini, both attended the Ethnic Designer Of The Year event where the former served as judge and the latter as the host. The event also included a fashion show by Shruti Sancheti which is mostly likely why both ladies wore outfits by her.
What was surprising though was that both sported the same belted sari look. Having sported a belted sari look just the day before at AIFW, we are surprised Mini opted to do another similar look so soon.
Anyhoo, between the two who do you think nails the look better? Our vote goes to Shruti. While Mini looked nice, the long earrings just made her already busy sari look busier. We also didn’t quite care for the exposed boots. Shruti was also in boots but it only really showed when she walked. Check it out here. She really nailed the edgy look with that hairdo and punk accessories.
While promoting Welcome Back in Delhi, Shruti sported three looks, a sexy look in a black Sailex jumpsuit, a sporty one in a denim Kanika Goyal jumpsuit and a relatively proper look in a white shirt and Dhruv Kapoor skirt.
Now, we don’t have the best pics but you can find a better full-length of each look here, here and here.
Now, that you’ve had a better look at all three looks, got a favorite?
Shruti was photographed in Vidhi Wadhwani while at an event promoting her upcoming movie. With her hair in corn rows, she paired the separates with white high-tops. Now this look seems right up Ms. Haasan’s alley; she wears it well.
