Huma walked the red carpet on Sunday evening at Cannes wearing a ruffled gown by Gaurav Gupta with sapphire earrings from Chopard. While I loved seeing an Indian label on the red carpet and the gown sure was dramatic, the more I stare at the gown, the less I like it.

Day one of Huma’s Cannes trip saw her going from a Balmain blazer dress to a Nauman Piyarji blazer gown. The tonal color sure was nice but those earrings felt too flashy for the red on red look. As for the black look, not a fan of those Stella McCartney pumps with that dress.

Huma attended an Awards event in Delhi on Sunday and was seen wearing a Tanieya Khanuja dress with jewels from Umesh Jivnani. All was good until I saw the footwear. Yes, chunky sneakers are all the rage these days, but can’t say I like it. Definitely didn’t here. The pink sneakers just were so jarring.
