At the recent awards event, Amrita was photographed in a Gauri and Nainika gown, version of which we most recently  spotted on Preity.

With her hair slicked back, she rounded out the look with a strong red lip, Bulgari watch and pair of metallic sandals. She worked every bit of that dress!

While at the IIFAs, Preity was photographed in a Gauri and Nainika gown. Like Sophie, she too teamed her gown with jewelry from Farah Khan Ali.

Looking at the back, the bustle looked just tacked on as an after thought to “dress up” the gown. Also, the hair and make-up looked completely disconnected from her choice of outfit. Not one of Ms. Zinta’s better sightings; this was bit of a lost opportunity.

Sophie picked a Gauri and Nainika gown for a recent awards evening. Ponytail in place, she rounded out her look with jewelry from Farah Khan Ali and pair of strappy metallic sandals.

Given the exaggerated shoulder/sleeve detail and the the thigh-high slit, the cut-outs made for one design element too many. Wish the designers had skipped that detail, would’ve made for a far more elevated look. That said, Sophie on her part, did wear the dress well.

Wearing a Gauri and Nainika gown, Sophie sat front-row at the designer duo’s show at LFW. Skipping jewelry, she rounded out the look with a sleek low ponytail, pink lip color, a Jimmy Choo clutch and pair of clear slingbacks. Though she wears it well, still not sold on the dress; we just weren’t fans of it.

It was a Gauri and Nainika gown for Katrina while at a recent wedding. Wearing her hair down in soft waves, she rounded out the look with pair of matching strappy sandals.

More I look at the gown closely, the less I like it. To Katrina’s credit however, she made it work for her; despite it, she looked nice. But that gown needs to be retired.
