While at the IIFAs, Preity was photographed in a Gauri and Nainika gown. Like Sophie, she too teamed her gown with jewelry from Farah Khan Ali.
Looking at the back, the bustle looked just tacked on as an after thought to “dress up” the gown. Also, the hair and make-up looked completely disconnected from her choice of outfit. Not one of Ms. Zinta’s better sightings; this was bit of a lost opportunity.

I’m going to sigh & forgot this – as with all her appearances of the past few years.
Will only picture her with the shoulder length cut in a black suit on a show with Farhan Akhtar. She looked so effortless and chic then!
I think she looks lovely tbh, maybe the hair shouldve been in an updo, but shes glowing and carrying the dress with so much elan

I for one think she’s looking great but for the unfortunate excess cloth behind. The hair and make up seem fine to me.
If the back ruffles could be cut off, it might have salvaged this wrapping paper gown

N this was the woman who bought gowns on Indian Red Carpet! Something is missing, she used to look so chic n effortless. N noo age had nothing to do with it..
Why does there have to be a messy cloak/train of garment trailing behind for it to be called designer? It reminds me of Deepika’s green ensemble (which was much more hideous). Preity looks okay though,we are so used to seeing heavily curated & contoured makeup that this looks like almost a no makeup look to me.
Can we get the original PZ back? This is drowning under bad clothes and makeup.
Her fashion sense was on point when she was an actress . This dress is doing her disservice. The color and yards of fabric is making her look bigger. Also the make up and hair looks terrible .
