Shimmer And Shine?

Kareena is celebrating her birthday at home and already making their way to it were a few of her close friends. Natasha was spotted arriving doing a whole lot of shimmer in a sequin Dolce & Gabbana dress. You’d think she’d want to tone down all that sequin by keeping it simple but that was not the case.

The socialite went for a maximalist look pairing the dress with a Gucci butterly belt and a heavy silver choker! The minimalist in me wishes she’d gone either/or on the belt and necklace.

In Dolce & Gabbana

For promotions of Simran on Saturday, Kangana was seen in floral printed Dolce & Gabbana dress and Chanel flats. Extending on the floral theme, her hair do was decorated with jasmine flowers and a pink rose.

I liked the idea of doing a desi twist on the typical Dolce & Gabbana-esque red roses hairdo but because of the flats, the overall look felt a little underwhelming.

Makes me wonder if she was doing a photo shoot or interview where she was going to be shot only waist up.

A spiffy looking Akshay Kumar attended the Vogue Beauty Awards 2017, where he wore a Dolce & Gabbana suit. The novelty factor came in the form of an Alexander McQueen skull printed tie and a skull cane.

We liked how the accessories tied the outfit together. There’s no doubt that Akshay looked good!

On the aside, given how actors have been showing up in their in-character appearances for promotional activities/events, we are glad that Akshay didn’t pick a prop from his upcoming movie. 😛
