Both ladies chose floral dresses paired with flats to wear to a recent screening but to, two very different results. No prizes for guessing… Yes, we did think Ms. Mirza fared much better in comparison.

For their stints as emcees at IIFA, Vivek and Dia were in Manish Malhotra… And have to say, Dia looked wonderful. That outfit could’ve easily overwhelmed the actress but she wore it with an unexpected ease and looked good while doing it.

We love Dia, we really do but the only laudable thing about this look was the color on her (which by the way, is Fab on her). The ruffled dress isn’t for us.
As for Soniya, she too did orange, hers being a Topshop dress which she paired with Gucci accessories. This dress too isn’t something we’d gravitate to. That aside, do wish she skipped that black belt and either went with a nude or pulled a Lucy Liu.
Those ankle boots on Soniya, I still Love very much.
Both ladies despite their dresses, looked good.

Having worn this White House Black Market dress to ‘Kites’ premiere ‘Filmi Girl’ instantly recognized this black and white dress on Dia as one.
If you hunt around (clue: Twitter), you’ll find Filmi Girl wearing the same dress. 😛

It was a Rocky S gown for Dia Mirza at the IIFA Awards green carpet. I have odd feelings about this gown because it feels like a lehenga-choli stitched together (kinda like a ready-made-stitched-sari). On Dia, I like that she pulled the hair back to match the old-school vibe that the gown has but the jewels don’t quite gel with it.
