In Threes

Pooja also was a guest at the 2015 Festival of Globe-Silicon Valley 2015 and while we’d like to say she had a good run on the red carpet, we can’t quite. The gown look, even though it felt too pageant-ey, was easy to pick as the lesser evil of the three.

On The Red Carpet

Also present at IFFLA was Pooja who walked the red carpet in a deep green gown. A side-ponytail and orange McQueen clutch completed her look. An understated look that works for her, don’t you think?

Of Gowns

The Light of India Awards were held past week in NY that felicitated Indians in several categories. Hostess Pooja wore a yellow gown with a plunging neckling and we have to admit, this was one of her best appearances. Lisa who was an awardee picked a red bandage gown that she wore with red lips. Not only did the look have too much red, the gown itself wasn’t that great.

P.S. Pooja is in Vionnet. Thanks “kalpa”.

In Emilio Pucci

Spotted Ms. Batra doing print in a blue Emilio Pucci dress on the opening night of NY Indian Film Festival. Don’t miss the matching blue nails.

Will update with better pics later on.

Animal Instinct

After last year’s debacle (remember this?), the Roberto Cavalli dress was definitely an upgrade on Ms. Batra’s part. If we had a minor gripe, we would have swapped out the long necklace for a gold collar cuff or have skipped it completely. The necklace just lost in all that animal print.
