Of all the Just Cavalli gowns we’ve seen on her (see here and here), we have to say this one is an instant favorite. The color is just great on her and the Tod’s turquoise clutch provides a perfect contrast.

Doing Denim

I am not a big fan of denim dresses and partly because most of them are either the wrong shade of blue (read: too light blue) or just have a tacky fit. But I have to admit, I really like Ms. Padukone’s casual look. The dress’ dark color works really well with her gold accessories. She completes her look with a Prada messenger bag with gold hardware.

We loved this dress on Deepika. And now that we see the print in its ‘top’ version, we like that too! 😉 (For some reason it doesn’t seem to photograph too well but looks far, far better in person!)

I may not have liked her in the other Peacock dress but how I love this pic of her. The gown doesn’t even look great but the bare makeup/pulled hair/lighting makes DP look ethereal.

Photo Shoot Wars!

Most of Falguni and Shane Peacock’s pieces are better suited for editorials but this one doesn’t impress in either Asin’s or Deepika’s photo shoot. This one, I liked best on the runway because of the model’s movement and the quirky make-up that matched the mood of the dress.
